Le Creuset Just Released the Dreamiest New Color

Whenever Le Creuset comes out with a new color, it makes me question my identity. After all, your choice of color says a lot about you. If you’re a Soleil gal, you have a bright and happy disposition. If you’re more of a Provence person, you’re romantic and whimsical and probably enjoy wear long caftans while cooking. If you’re obsessed with the Matte Sugar Pink color, you’re probably, well, a millennial.

And now today, Le Creuset has officially released a new color for all of us to try on for size: Indigo. This dreamy, deep blue color is bold and gorgeous and is clearly for someone who possess both of these attributes. Could that be you?

“Inspired by the iconic natural dye, the rich, deep hue of Le Creuset’s Indigo is universally authentic — a timeless ‘true blue’ and bold neutral in style and cultures around the world,” Le Creuset said in a press release.

The new color is available in many of Le Creuset’s products, including their round Dutch oven ($380), baking dish ($50), and even their cute pepper mills ($38). I personally have my eye on this sauce pan ($185).

If this new color looks familiar, it’s because it was exclusively available at Sur la Table for some time. But starting today (September 1) you can now get your hands on this color on Le Creuset’s website and select kitchenware retailers.

Le Creuset has had a year with releasing new colors and products. There was the Williams Sonoma partnership that resulted in Mint (*swoon*). And of course the Ombré Collection, even more Disney-themed pots, and the Sorbet Collection also came out in 2018. While it might be a hard decision on which to buy, it’s also a welcomed time for some self-reflection.
