One of my favorite scenes from Home Alone is when Kevin McCallister finally realizes he’s no longer under the watchful eye of his parents or siblings. He puts on an R-rated movie and enjoys a giant ice cream sundae, a large bag of Lays Crunch Tators, and a can of Pepsi.

In the ’90s, those Lays Crunch Tators were extremely popular — especially when this iconic scene in Home Alone spotlighted them. Every once in a while, the famous chip brand will roll out these chips, but it’s always random, so it’s hard to predict what years they’ll actually get restocked.

If you’re a fan of these potato chips or have always wanted to try them, you’ll be happy to learn that Dollar General recently stocked its shelves with bags of Lays Crunch Tators in two flavors: Original and Mighty Mesquite. This snack is extra crunchy compared to the brand’s light and airy potato chips, which is why it’s so popular.

Lay’s Crunch Tators are currently available on the Dollar General website and at the discount retailer’s stores for $4.45 per eight-ounce bag. They’re also available through Instacart if you’re looking for quicker delivery.

Shoppers are excited to get cozy this holiday season and recreate the scene from Home Alone.

One person commented on this Instagram post detailing the drop, saying, “Thanks for letting us know. I’m definitely going to look to see if I can find it.” Another shopper mentioned, “These look tasty.” Because these Lays Crunch Tators are limited-edition, they won’t be around for long — so if you’ve been eyeing these chips ever since you watched Home Alone, you’ll want to head over to Dollar General to get a bag while you can.
