The Los Angeles home that once served as Carmelo and La La Anthony’s primary family residence may soon belong to someone else. The Beverly Hills-adjacent hideaway was recently listed for nearly $2.6 million and is now under contract, nearly two years after the celebrity couple’s divorce became official.

Nestled in the neighborhood of Beverly Grove, the 3-bedroom, 3-bath house offers all of the conveniences of city living, as its official listing highlights the home’s proximity to the Grove, the farmers market, and the Beverly Center as selling points. But, tucked away behind its gates and privacy hedges, Melo and La La’s former property also offers the tranquility of a Mediterranean vacation home.

The classic stucco exterior and tiled roof are echoed inside with exposed wood beams on the vaulted ceiling, giving the house a spacious, old-school feel. Unlike some of the homes we’ve seen in recent months — like the Mississippi farmhouse NFL legend Deion Sanders is offloading — the outdoor space surrounding the 2,000-square-foot home isn’t as spacious as we might expect. With an abundance of windows throughout the house, however, every room embodies indoor-outdoor vibes.

While a little on the small side, the galley-style chef’s kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, and gives way to a cozy breakfast nook. Just outside of the kitchen sits a full dining room that, thanks to its views of the backyard, doesn’t quite feel as stuffy as one might expect.

Sitting on the other side of the open floor plan, separated by a bright foyer, is a living room that simultaneously feels intimate while providing ample space and seating for the entire family. Rather take the party outside? The well-manicured backyard also features a covered outdoor lounge complete with a space for dining.

Adding to the resort feel of this oasis are a perfectly sized swimming pool and in-ground hot tub. And on the rare occasions that the LA weather won’t let you live your best outdoor life, the master bedroom boasts a spa bathroom with views of the outside bamboo landscaping that will let you experience all of the zen you need without worrying about mother nature’s whims.
