If you are one of the many people attempting to hold on to summer, Krispy Kreme’s latest release may be the thing to change your mind. As the doughnut chain doesn’t seem to be slowing down when it comes to their seasonal drops, fans of the fall season can now fully embrace the season — and I am totally here for it. 

Fresh off the heels of their Fall Menu announcement last month, Krispy Kreme has just announced that starting Monday, September 19 (that’s today!), you can find three more fall-flavored doughnuts added to the menu. And it includes one that’s sure to become my favorite: an all-new handmade apple fritter!

So, what flavors can you expect to find within the new menu additions? For starters, there’s a Maple Pecan Cheesecake Doughnut that has a cheesecake-flavored filling, is dipped in maple-flavored icing, and is topped with both maple icing drizzles and pecan pieces. The Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut, on the other hand, is tossed in cinnamon sugar and features a delicious apple cider-flavored filling.

For fans of salted caramel, there’s the Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut. It’s made with an Original Glazed doughnut and is topped with salted caramel brownie batter frosting, drizzled with salted caramel on top, and boasts delicious brownie bits with fall leaf sprinkles. Yum!

Can’t decide which one you want to try, or just want to try them all? You can pick up one of each and add on the popular Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut — which is staying on the menu for the season — to make it a foursome with the Autumn’s Orchard Collection Box. If that doesn’t quite hit the spot, customers can purchase the Autumn’s Lover’s Dozen, which includes three of each of the four fall flavored doughnuts.

As for the Apple Fritter, however, this one is handmade with diced apples, and has an apple filling and loads of cinnamon throughout. And like the others, it can be purchased both individually or in a 4-pack (albeit no variety offered).

Just like the season’s foliage, though, these flavors will only be available for a limited time, so get your tastebuds ready, grab your pumpkin-spiced beverages, and go snag yourself some doughnut goodness today! Can’t make it over to KK anytime soon? You can always try your hand at making these glazed apple fritters instead.
