Kraft mac & cheese can do no wrong in my book, and now they’ve outdone themselves. They recently released a cheese POWDER — yes, that totally delicious stuff you find in the package when you’re making Kraft mac and cheese. The magical 20.7-ounce container holds more than one pound of cheese powder. That sounds like a lot, but you’ll probably use it up fast because it sounds so damn good.

There’s really nothing I can think of that would taste bad with an added dose of cheese powder. Salads? Oh yeah. Soups, breakfast sandwiches, and tacos? Pass the shaker! And yes, you CAN sprinkle it on your pasta dish for an even cheesier dish. No judgments here.

Kraft has some ideas on how to use it, too. They recommend using the shaker to top popcorn, or mix the powder with water to create a sauce for veggies, like broccoli or Brussels sprouts (yum). They also recommend it on pasta, of course. So even when you cannot get your hands on Kraft mac & cheese itself you can still use it to make a sauce for any pasta dish — zoodles, low-carb rice, or chickpea noodles too.

You can also use the shaker on roasted potatoes, or inside a baked potato with some avocado, sour cream, and bacon, sprinkled on top of mashed cauliflower or rice, or as a fun crusty topping for bread. Warmed up with some melted butter and chives, and then that delicious Kraft mac & cheese topping — HOW AMAZING, right? My mouth is practically watering over here.

You can snag the good stuff for just $6.99 at BJ’s or for $20 from Amazon. And if you’re like I am, you might want to get two at once, ’cause you know you’ll be using them on everything in your kitchen ASAP.
