As a home baker, I make a lot of batters and doughs that I regularly think would be easier to whip up if I had a stand mixer. What often stops me from getting one is the cost, since many of them go for hundreds of dollars. But with KitchenAid’s Black Friday discounts, I’m ready to finally grab one of their iconic stand mixers for myself — especially since I can save over $100 on one right now. Save on tilt-head and bowl-lift models, as well as on the jaw-droppingly beautiful 2024 Color of the Year stand mixer.

But stand mixers aren’t the only thing you can get a discount on during KitchenAid’s Black Friday sale. You’ll also be able to save on a hand mixer, food chopper, hand blender, and plenty more. And if you already have a KitchenAid stand mixer (or plan to buy one right now), you can also grab some attachments for it for less.

KitchenAid makes quite a few stand mixers, but this one is the best, according to our team. “The tilt-head design is easy to operate and it’s a cinch to change or remove attachments,” Contributor Riddley Gemperlein-Schirm wrote in our ranking. “The mixer’s bowl has a helpful handle and easily twists to lock onto the mixer’s base. The machine is powerful, too.” Many KitchenAid reviewers also love it, with more than one calling it the “best mixer ever.” Plus, it comes in a wide range of color options, so you can easily match your kitchen’s color scheme.

Now that we’re fully in baking season, it’s so important to have a hand mixer to whip up delectable cookie doughs, cake batters, and more — and this hand mixer is an editor favorite. “I bought the KitchenAid 5-Speed Ultra Power Hand Mixer, and it’s been my steadfast companion throughout my baking journey,” Deputy Commerce Editor Alicia Kort says in her review. “It mixes ingredients well and isn’t intimidating for a total beginner to use.”

This food chopper is perfect for those who need a food processor but don’t have space for one. With this smaller model, you’ll be able to store it easily. Or you can take it on the go with you, like contributor Stella does. “It’s so lightweight, I’ve even taken it on road trips; it adds no extra bulk and is a perfect all-in-one gadget when I know I’ll be cooking in an Airbnb or camping,” she says in her review. “Wherever I use it, this mini appliance is something I really can’t cook (or live) without.”

This pasta press attachment is the closest thing you’ll find to a commercial pasta extruder and comes with six dies to turn fresh pasta dough into spaghetti, bucatini, fusilli, rigatoni, small macaroni, and large macaroni. A small wire at the bottom of the press lets you cut the shapes to your desired length, whether you like your pasta short or twirl-ably long!

Whipping up smooth sauces, dips, and soups is so simple with this hand blender. It’s currently available in eight different colors, and it comes with a variable speed switch (so you can determine the best speed for each dish), a blending jar — which can hold up to 3 cups’ worth of smoothies, sauces, and more — plus a lid for it, and a removable pan guard so you can blend up soup right within your pot without fear of it getting scratched it up.

No need to ask for a shaved ice maker this holiday season when you can grab this attachment — complete with both coarse and fine blades — for your stand mixer instead! Mark, The Kitchn's executive director of commerce, tried it out recently and says: “This thing really works, and it’s so fast and easy to make my own shaved ice at home. I keep the ice molds ready to go in my freezer at all times, so I can take out a puck when I’m in the mood for something cool (which is pretty much always).”

If you're looking for something a bit more compact than the food processor attachments, this nifty attachment performs the same job and takes up a fraction of the space. Three blades can make quick work of cheese and firm fruits and vegetables, with your choice of medium, coarse, or flat slices. The best part? You can feed ingredients continuously and directly into your serving or prep bowl.
