It’s September, and what does that mean for home cooks? Drumroll please… fall baking, of course! Ah, how we here at Kitchn wait all year for this precious season to roll around so we can start swirling up some pumpkin spiced cinnamon rolls, caramel apple cakes, pecan squares, and all the other scrum-diddly-umptous sweet treats that come with the change in seasons.

Luckily, KitchenAid, the brand behind some of our most-relied-upon baking must-haves, just launched an all-new, top-of-the-line, totally stunning stand mixer that’ll be your new best friend in the kitchen. The machine is available exclusively on their own site and at Williams Sonoma and, trust us, you’ll want to get your hands on this powerhouse machine ASAP before the first leaves start to fall.

The brand-spanking new mixer is a part of the Artisan series (the stand mixer that tops our Best List time and time again) but doubles as a piece of art on your countertop. With a 5-qt. hammered-copper bowl that will patina over time (gorg!) and has a stainless steel interior, along with a satin-finished sage green body, this baby checks all of our boxes for uber-stylish, super-high-functioning kitchenware. It comes with a flat beater, pastry beater, dough hook, wire whip, and bowl scraper — aka everything you need to whip up a batch of your favorite goodies or maybe try that daunting recipe you’ve been eyeing — and is compatible with all KitchenAid attachments (hello, fall pasta night!).

Whatever beater or whisk you do attach, the Blossom taps into KitchenAid’s touchpoint technology, which ensures that as the attachment whisks or mixes, it hits 59 points across the interior of the bowl. That’s right, with KitchenAid you can say goodbye to undermixed dough, unevenly distributed butter, and hidden flour pockets. Ten speeds aid in the machine’s optimal performance, helping you either slowly incorporate an ingredient or effortlessly whip meringues and buttercreams in no time.

There’s no doubt about it: This machine is well worth the investment and promises to last a literal lifetime. Plus, no matter how many times you move or how often your taste in baked goods changes, the Blossom is bound to bring elegance and creativity into every kitchen.
