Kitchen Organization Tips for the Morning Rush

We don't know about you, but at our house mornings are a whirlwind of getting up, getting ready, and getting out the door. Some kitchen organization tips to keep things running smoothly:

1: A coffee station, like Tiina's pictured up top, keeps coffee essentials all in one spot. We'd keep a supply of empty mugs there, too.

2: A fruit bowl can be really beautiful for decor. But it can also speed up the morning routine. Pre-washing fruit ahead of time and keeping it in a bowl means you can grab it and go for part of a healthy breakfast.

3: We have these great, deep bowls that are good for everything. We use both for cereal in the morning and noodle, soup, or pasta dishes in the evening. On a typical weeknight, it's not at all uncommon for us to wash them after dinner and line them up on the counter ready for cereal the next morning.

4: The kitchen is the first place we head to when we get home in the afternoon and the last place we leave when departing for the day. What better place to designate a small landing strip for keys, cell phone, purse or any other must-remember essentials?
