Kitchen Linens Inspired By Latin America

It's impossible not to be inspired by the bright colors, fashion, architecture and certainly the food of Latin America. What's even more inspirational — Latin American artwork. We've found our favorite vintage (and even a few modern) pieces of artwork on a very familiar medium.

Tea towels is that familiar medium we're talking about. Tea towels are accessible pieces of artwork that anyone of any income range can afford. They can be hung as art, used in practical ways or stored in your families heirloom hutch for everyone to see. Here are some of our favorites:

Woven servilleta/serving cloth, $12.50 - The vibrant colors of this woven serving cloth are so bright and cheery! These are made in Guatemala.
Vintage Bullfighting Tea Towel, $8.00 as the seller mentioned in their description, we in no way condone bull fighting, but, the radiant colors in this vintage tea towel are spectacular. This would make a great piece of artwork in the kitchen!
Vintage Tea Towel, $23.00 from Broderie Creations would be the perfect addition to any vintage kitchen. Featuring colors typically found in vintage kitchens, the mint and coral colors are subtle while the print is attention grabbing.
Spanish Flair Kitchen Towel, $4.95 is a vintage hand towel that's slightly more whimsical. Guitars, sombreros and palm trees are scattered about and leaves us wanting to take that Mexican vacation we've been dreaming about.
Vintage Set of 2 Linen Boldly Embroidered Tea Towels, $14.00 feature a less obvious latin american influence. The Spanish flair and vintage colors make these towels a great find.
Little Family Tea Towel, $9.95 features a family couple embroidered on a flour sack towel made of 100% cotton.
Cotton kitchen cloths, 'Izabal Butterflies' (pair), $89.95 - These kitchen cloths from Novica have a hefty price, but they are really works of art. Great for framing on the kitchen wall.
Hand printed Mexican design linen Napkin x 4, $20 - We love the strong, bold print on these napkins. They echo folk art while still feeling quite modern.
