Kitchen Close-Up: Amelie and John's London Warehouse Conversion

Amélie and John's London Warehouse Conversion is a stunning industrial space warmed up with warm elements like lived-in vintage furniture and modern lighting. And their open, airy kitchen is a dream.

John, an architect, recuperated the long industrial kitchen unit from a client who was throwing it out (and had already had it sawed in half in anticipation of having it removed).

They added long shelves on the wall for open storage, showing off their colorful, casual mix of table and cookware. Half of an industrial refrigerator is used for food and the other half for storage. A vintage dining table and chairs make the space comfortable and inviting.
