Megan of the blog Urban Casita had a regular and not particularly special kitchen that she transformed into a bright and welcoming space with the help of a deep clean, turquoise paint, open shelving (simply by removing the doors, not installing new shelves), and some DIY touches like plate collections and a spice rack she picked up from Salvation Army and spray painted. Fun!
