We’ve Created the Wine Club We Always Wanted

It’s easier than ever to drink wine, and lots of it. But getting good at drinking wine takes a little work. We’ve taken some of that work out with our new Kitchn Wine Club.

We’ve paired with Wine Awesomeness to bring you three budget-friendly wines that taste way more expensive than they are. The wines are all hand-picked by Kitchn editors, and paired with some of our tried-and-true, no-fuss weekday recipes.

We also worked closely with Sayle Milne, the wine educator behind Wine Savvy, to create pairings and tasting notes written for the real world. (We promise we won’t talk about the nose of the wine unless the bottle just so happens to have an actual nose.)

In other words, we designed the kind of wine club we’ve always wanted, for wine on a Tuesday night — no tablecloth required.

For the first month, we started at the very beginning — one red, one white, and one bubbly — and paired each with unexpected and easy weeknight dinners. In Milne’s words, “pairing food and wine is a lot like pairing couples.” And we have three great first dates for you: a rich red that goes great with our weeknight-style bulgogi, a slightly sweet white that contrasts wonderfully with a spicy stir-fry, and a Cava that is made just like Champagne for a fraction of the price with one of our all-time favorite baked chicken recipes.

So how much does all this cost? It’s $54 a month, with free shipping. After your first box, we’ll send new wines for you to discover with new recipes to try every month.
