Is there anything more satisfying than kitchen makeover photos? I say no. I will click on any article that offers a before-and-after view of pantries, fridges, and cabinets. That said, it didn’t require much convincing for me to take the bait for Poosh’s exclusive look at Kim Kardashian’s pantry refresh.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Kardashians, you may not be prepared for the photo dump. (Just kidding; this is the internet in 2022. Of course you’re familiar.) This isn’t so much “jaw-dropping organizational makeover” as it is just … jaw-dropping. Kim K. didn’t have a disaster pantry in need of an overhaul — she already had a gorgeous, minimalist setup. But the updates totally take it to the next level.

There are two low-slung shelves in the pantry (the second was added recently), illuminated with gallery-style lighting. Every item, from dinnerware to glass-and-wood storage containers, is arranged just so. And because there are no cabinets or, um, doors, in the entire space, it makes sense that everything looks neat as a pin. The plates and bowls are a simple white. The containers of dried goods are as straight as a ruler.

I’d say it wasn’t relatable, except for one thing: The entire pantry is basically crunchy snacks. I knew I had something in common with the Kardashians. Judging from the jars of almonds, pretzels, and potato chips, it’s safe to say that Kim and her kids are snackers. And while my pantry may never be as impeccably organized as hers, I do appreciate her use of wooden storage bins to corral grab-and-go snacks. (All of my RX Bars live in a very similar one!).

Kim’s not the only Kardashian who can contribute to the #pantrygoals hashtag on Instagram: Khloe also has a gorgeous space. While just as tidy, Khloe’s food haven looks like it’s better equipped to handle baking and cooking. I’ll admit to feeling a surge of envy at her flour and sugar station.

IMO, Khloe’s pantry is a little cozier than Kim’s, with taller shelves and warmer lighting. But my favorite part about both of their spaces is the same: The shelves are stocked with relatable convenience items. Pickles, jarred salad dressings, and packaged snacks are proof that no matter how famous you get, there’s nothing quite like a simple and delicious meal.
