Seriously Good Chili Cookbook

As a founding member of the “Finer Things Club,” it’s no secret that Kevin from The Office was both a lover of good food and a bit of a clumsy fellow at the same time. Fans of the show may vividly recall the episode where he famously spills a huge pot of chili and does his best to scoop it all back up off the carpet floor — in hilarious comedic fashion, of course.

Though his genuine, lovable character — and his chili mishap — already held a special place in my memory from the show, it’s now immortalized in the form of a cookbook that includes none other than chili recipes!

Brian Baumgartner, who played the iconic character Kevin on the show, took to his Instagram to announce that his new chili cookbook, Seriously Good Chili Cookbook, will be released this fall, and I for one, am very excited.

Set to hit shelves on September 13, the cookbook — which features 177 recipes — will deliver variations of the comfort dish from all over the world including Texas chili, Cincinnati chili, chili verde, turkey chili, and even vegetable chili. And being the chili and BBQ master that he is, Brian Baumgartner even includes his own chili recipe, which he has been working on for years. A deliciously good time, I’m sure!

With a foreword written by The Office’s very own Oscar Nuñez — who played Dunder Mifflin accountant Oscar Martinez — and a loveable photo of Kevin on the front cover, this cookbook is looking like a must-have for fans of the iconic television show.

You can preorder yourself a copy now at Amazon, Walmart, and Target; but in the meantime, be sure to get yourself prepped for a world of delicious chili. While you’re counting down the days for its release, you can check out this cookbook from the show about nothing, featuring famous recipes from Seinfeld‘s impressive nine-season run. And don’t forget about the soon-to-be-released unofficial Schitt’s Creek cookbook titled Eat Like Schitt to properly round out your TV show cookbook collection.
