People Are Totally Obsessed with These $14 Keto Cookies on Amazon
When you go keto, you have to be mindful of your net carbs and sugar, which generally means goodbye, delicious cookies! See ya again later. Or maybe never? Not so fast: Now you don’t need to say farewell to your favorite sweet treats (or even SNACKS, in this case!).
The HighKey Snacks Keto Mini Cookies are making quite the statement across the keto and low-carb community. In fact, they’re super high on Amazon’s most popular groceries. For $14, you get a pack of three cookies, so each pack is basically slightly over $4 a pop. Not too bad when you think about the deliciousness you can enjoy without falling out of ketosis. They come in two flavors: chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle.
Each bag has six mini cookies, which isn’t a whole lot, but it still satisfies that sugar craving without the sugar and few carbs (just two net grams a bag). Plus, reviews are generally positive. “They taste just like a regular cookie,” one reviewer said. “And even though they are roughly the size of a nickel, they have a lot of flavor and are very satiating.”
The cookies contain just three grams of protein, so not a lot. However, you can add protein without the carbs and sugar by spreading nut butter on the cookies — it’ll make them even creamier and tastier, and make them a bit more satiating. (Try Perfect Keto’s Nut Butter, which is also on Amazon.)
If you’re looking for cookies with more protein, I’d recommend Quest Protein Cookies, which I happen to love (They contain 15 grams of protein a cookie for just 5 grams of net carbs. So, slightly over the HighKey Snacks, but for way more protein.)
And a few more you can try if you’re a big cookie fan and are following a low-carb diet? Fat Snax, which also tastes just like a cookie, or Nui Protein Cookies, which have eight grams of protein a serving for four grams of net carbs.
