By now it’s clear that the team over at Little Debbie means business this year. Not only did Little Debbie tap into our nostalgic-loving hearts with the release of their well-received snack cake-inspired ice cream flavors, but their zebra cakes-turned-mini donuts have also easily become a staple in my late-night snack rotation. But just when I thought they couldn’t get any more impressive with their releases, they announced the arrival of their latest mouth-watering creation: a Nutty Buddy-inspired cereal.

Little Debbie has teamed up with breakfast behemoth Kellogg’s, and the sweet treat you know and love has now become the reality of a childhood dream. In keeping true to the snack’s classic flavor profile, the cereal blends notes of roasted peanut butter and the smooth taste of chocolate in crunchy fudge-coated cereal pieces. Yum!

If you’re like me and can’t wait to get your hands on the new cereal, thankfully you won’t have to wait long. Beginning in October, Kellogg’s Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Cereal will be available exclusively at Walmart, with other retailers set to begin selling nationwide in December. The best part? It’s only $4.99 for an 8.2-ounce box and $5.99 for a 13.1-ounce box. If there was ever a way to put a price on happiness, this is it.

In case you were wondering, this isn’t the first time the two brands have collaborated to tap into our hearts. In 2020, Kellogg’s and Little Debbie partnered to release two snack-inspired ice cream-flavored cereals: Oatmeal Creme Pies and Cosmic Brownies. 

Hopefully Kellogg’s has their eye on my favorite Little Debbie snack — Honey Buns — for the next breakfast treatment, but until then, I’ll be satisfied with what they’ve dished out so far.
