It’s Official: Welcome to the New Kitchn!

A few weeks have passed since the rolling launch of our new site design, and we appreciate all of the feedback (good and bad!) that we’ve received thus far. Today, we celebrate our first full day as the new Kitchn! Our team has been hard at work over the past several months working on this new design that serves as both a visual refresh and a complete re-architecting of how our site is built. Both of these things allow us to set a strong direction for the future and allow us the flexibility to adapt, change, and improve rapidly.

We know that change can be hard and that everything isn’t perfect, but our work isn’t finished! We are constantly gathering and assessing feedback we receive from emails, comments on posts, our feedback widget, and on-site analytics. This information, combined with our future vision for the brand, will serve as our guide as we continue to try to make Kitchn better everyday.

So please, keep sending us your feedback! We still want the good, the bad, and everything in-between. We are listening to you and reading and processing every comment. One of our goals with this new design is not only to refresh the way our site looks, but also to kick off a fresh start to the way that our Product Team works. Can you believe it’s been over 4 years since our last major redesign? Instead of waiting for months (or years) to release a new feature, you’ll notice frequent, smaller updates. This way, we can put new ideas in front of you as quickly as possible as we move toward a process of constant iteration in pursuit of constant improvement.

So, though today is our official “Launch Day,” we’re only just getting started.
