Isobel loves to cook for friends, and her Brooklyn kitchen is well-suited for that. "It's really nice that the kitchen opens up to the living room," she tells Apartment Therapy in this recent House Tour. The rental kitchen did need a little creative love, though, so Isobel painted several walls, including the kitchen backsplash, in black chalkboard paint and hung a pot rack above her stove that her mom helped her build. It's made out of a curtain rod and S hooks, and while it cost only a few dollars to build, it has apparently lasted through many apartment moves!
