Will I Be Able to Shop at Kroger on Easter?
In my opinion, nothing captures the essence of spring quite like Easter. When I was growing up, I always viewed it as the ultimate holiday because it combined the best parts of other holidays into one mega day of fun: Every year, I got enough candy to rival Halloween, a large feast similar to that on Thanksgiving, and a gift basket with toys like on Christmas. As an adult, I now realize the hard work and preparation required to execute the big day — and most of that includes multiple runs back to the store for things forgotten.
During the hustle and bustle of the day, I always find I’ve forgotten an essential item no matter how many lists I make before going to the grocery store. If you’re anything like me, however, fear not: America’s largest grocery chain, Kroger, will be open on Easter Day (April 17) for all your last-minute needs. In their recent annual report, Kroger made it clear they know what items customers want to see lining the shelves this year, so the chances of them not having the grocery item you need will probably be rather slim.
Kroger makes it easier than ever to get what you need by offering a variety of ways to shop and save. Aside from traditional in-store pickup, the popular chain also offers grocery delivery via Instacart in as little as 30 minutes. If Instacart isn’t available in your area, though, you can try curbside pickup with no pickup fee on orders $35 or more. So, feel free to add that bag of Honey Graham-flavored M&M’s you’ve been eyeing to your cart.
As a general rule, It’s always wise to check if your local Kroger has an adjusted schedule for any holiday, but all that takes is a quick visit to their website to check their store locator. Not a big Kroger shopper or don’t have one near you? You can always check to see if Walmart or Aldi are open for the big day instead.
