Soaking your corn on the cob in milk and honey is downright luxurious and sounds like it would require more than a little patience — especially if you want all of the flavors to soak into every kernel. But what if we told you this only takes four to six minutes to cook, thanks to the Instant Pot? Are you ready to swan dive with me?
Get out your honey bear because it’s apparently the best way to bring out the sweetness of that haul of summer corn you just picked up from the farmers market. (As if it wasn’t naturally sweet enough.)
Prepare your Instant Pot by filling it with water, unsalted butter, Cajun seasoning, honey, heavy cream, milk, corn. (The recipe author used a six-quart Instant Pot for this.)
Close the lid and make sure that the vent is set to ” sealing,” then cook on high pressure for four to six minutes. Let the pressure release for five more minutes and then quick release the rest. If you’re really going all in, ladle the cooking liquid over the cooked corn and sprinkle with more Cajun spice. Now that’s some good corn!
