The best part of Halloween is obviously tiny children stuffed inside of pumpkins, but as they get bigger, you can’t do that anymore. Thankfully, the second-best part of Halloween is everybody’s Ina Garten costumes. In a year when we all need more comfort, there’s no better costume than the comfort food queen. And it helps that it doesn’t take much to get suited up — just grab a wig, a chambray or denim button-down shirt, and plate of cookies or a wooden spoon. If you can cajole someone (or, as you’ll see later, some pet) into being your Jeffrey, even better.

Though we’ve highlighted some great Ina costumes before, this year on Instagram she put together a best-of from over the years, opening with the one from two years ago that clearly wins forever, with a laughing child as a tiny Jeffrey steals a cookie. But flipping through the slideshow, there’s also an excellent canine Jeffrey (he is as sweet as a puppy, isn’t he?), an impressively elegant child Ina,  a tiny toddler with her own shopping cart and twine-tied baguette, and one that absolutely nails the way she holds a wine glass — who knew how specific a skill that was?

If that’s not enough Ina outfits to keep you entertained through the day — or if you need more inspiration before tomorrow, this year’s costumes have started to trickle in and some have smartly incorporated the giant Cosmo. Probably just what Halloween needs this year! Click through into her tagged photos and you’ll find this cocktail-drinking version, a wine-basket-bearing Ina, Ina ready to film with her bowl of broccoli, Ina with a whisk at the ready, a turkey-toting Ina, and perhaps heading straight to the Ina costume hall of fame, this one where a dog wearing a cone serves as the famous giant cocktail
