Everyone always dreams of having a fairy godmother in the kitchen: A gentle, smiling woman who shows you the perfect way to roast a turkey or decorate your dinner table for a party. Thankfully, we don’t need to dream, because we have one, and her name is Ina Garten. Her show Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro has delivered cooking tips for the past two seasons that could bail out even the most amateur home cook. And guess what? A third season of the show is in the works, because Ina would never abandon us.

Here’s What You Can Look Forward to with Season 3

The new season of the show premieres on October 21, and fans will get a special treat in honor of autumn. Ina will host a Thanksgiving special alongside some of her celebrity pals, including the always-charming Jennifer Garner (who is in need of her own cooking show, honestly) and Nigella Lawson.

Speaking of England, the show will also feature a segment on how to create a decadent “British-style lunch,” in honor of Mary Poppins (the fictional version of Ina Garten, obviously). If that wasn’t enough to stir your inner Anglophile, you’ll be even more excited to learn that Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who star in the upcoming Mary Poppins movie, will be joining Ina to help her prepare the meal.

Cooking, especially for a big group of people or your family, too often turns out to be more stressful than it’s worth. On Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro, Ina is the master of showing you how to keep cooking fun and anxiety-free. She wants to help you, not prove how much better she is at cooking than you. We need her show to remind us that we should enjoy cooking the meal as much as we enjoy eating it.

Oh, and by the way, just in case you need more Ina in your life (trust me, you do), then you’ll want to grab a copy for her new cookbook, which comes out on October 23.
