If you’re looking for a fun centerpiece for your next summer shindig, look no further than this fruit salad “grill” made from a watermelon. Sandra Denneler at She Knows has a full tutorial for assembling your own version, complete with celery stick legs and shiny blackberry charcoal.

To make the grill, you’ll need to hollow out a round watermelon, fill the bottom half with blackberry “coals” and run wooden skewers through to build the grates. Fresh fruit kebabs complete the tiny grill and give your guests something to munch on while they admire your handiwork.

With some adult assistance, this would also be a fun project for kids, as well as a cute addition to a summer birthday spread.
