Aldi Is Coming Out with a (Cheaper!) Near Look-Alike to IKEA’s Raskog Cart
I’ve never met a single person who has ever run into an IKEA just to pick up a thing or two. No. When people go to IKEA, it becomes an all-day affair. Even if you REALLY just went to look at dining chairs. You get there and figure, “Eh, I may as well walk the whole maze.” And then you’re distracted by $2 storage containers and cheap rugs in the market place. And then you’re hungry for a hot dog and some soft serve. Before you even know it, the whole day has gone by and you’ve filled a blue bag with hundreds of dollars of goodies.
All of that’s to say that, no matter how badly you might want IKEA’s now-famous RÅSKOG cart, there’s no way you’re making a special trip to the Swedish megastore just to get one.
So, imagine my excitement when I saw, in the preview of the Aldi Finds for July, that the discount store has a nearly identical look-alike coming out the week of July 17. At just $24.99, the SOHL Furniture 3-Tier Metal Rolling Cart is $5 cheaper than IKEA’s. And you don’t have to make a costly (in time or money!) trip to IKEA.
