Move over, red velvet. Who cares about chocolate? This Valentine's Day, all I want is for someone to make me this mini lavender, champagne, and hazelnut cake (hint hint). Scratch that – I'm making this adorable-looking cake for myself. It just looks too good to wait any longer.
Part of the base of the cake is hazelnut meal, which I personally have never worked with, but it sounds awesome. Then there's Champagne, culinary lavender buds, crème fraîche, and lavender sugar. Oh my.
