Q: I want to ship some homemade chicken noodle soup to my daughter. I live in Michigan and she lives in Nevada. What’s the best and safest way to do this?

Editor: Your best bet is to freeze the soup, then ship it in a cooler with dry ice to make sure it doesn’t melt during the journey. I would also recommend not adding noodles to the soup, as they don’t hold up as well in the freezing process. If your daughter doesn’t mind cooking noodles and then adding them to the soup, that will yield the best texture!
