Q: How do I keep my whipped cream from falling flat? I use vanilla and powdered sugar. It looks great when I'm done whipping, but it doesn't last, and eventually looks wimpy. Any suggestions?

Editor: A while back one of our editors tested a bunch of different methods for making long-lasting whipped cream. She had the most luck using an immersion blender, and blending in just a small amount of powdered sugar and vanilla.
