Q: I have an extremely unique kitchen situation. A year ago my husband and I adopted a friendly, adorable pit mix puppy. Then we moved to a new city for work. While pit bulls are not banned here, we found that many landlords would not accept us. It took a long time, but we finally found a new apartment. Here’s the catch:

It has no kitchen. You read that right. No stove. No oven. No kitchen sink. We aren’t even allowed to have a hot plate. Here is what I am working with:

  • A medium sized toaster oven
  • A coffee maker
  • An electric skillet (admittedly a loophole with the no hot plate rule, but I couldn’t take it anymore.)
  • A fridge and freezer

Here is my question, what would you cook if didn’t really have anywhere to cook and no kitchen sink to clean up?
