Q: I am moving across the country, and I have a big bag of steel-cut oats (bought in bulk) that I am not planning on packing up and shipping to my destination (we’re selling most of our stuff and shipping very little). I also don’t want to bring it on the plane in my suitcase.

The oats have technically expired, so my friends are hesitant to take them off my hands, but I’m enjoying them daily and they “expired” in December.

I can only go through so much oatmeal in the next eight weeks, so please help me find other recipes for treats, baked goods, and any other uses for steel-cut oats!
