Q: I'm a big fan of Snack-a-Jack and Quaker puffed rice cakes and want to try making some at home, ie. with a healthy spin. Puffing rice, though, seems like a serious feat. I've seen it done with a deep-fry method but it isn't quite the healthy spin I'm after. Is there a secret to doing this at home, using tools we have already?
