Easter isn’t a big gift-giving holiday (especially if you don’t have kids), but that doesn’t mean you’re totally off the hook. Sorry to be the bearers of bad news! By no means should you should show up empty-handed to the house of your third cousin. (Even if she’s technically twice removed!)

It’s good form to bring your host a token of your appreciation for putting in the effort and providing the digs for your celebration. It doesn’t have to be a huge gesture you’ve been planning for months, but something a little more thoughtful than a re-gifted bottle of wine or a bouquet of flowers will do the trick. Here are a few of our favorite picks of the season — for $25 or less!

Lots of people bring plants to their Easter celebration, but plants in adorable egg-shaped ceramic pots with tiny draining holes are even nicer. The quad comes with a removable saucer, which catches whatever water the succulents don’t suck up. (Note: Succulents not included. We think these would look cute with kitchen herb seedlings too!)
