Quick — name your top 5 appetizers of all time. If you said “baked Brie,” you’re definitely in the majority. (If you didn’t say “baked Brie,” we have follow-up questions.) This easy app is beloved by home cooks for its super simple preparation and its crowd-pleasing wow factor. So when we saw that the popular Instagram recipe account @spoonforkbacon created a recipe for the holiday classic with a truly mind-blowing twist, we put it at the top of our menus.

The foodie account, run by food stylist Jenny Park and photographer Teri Lyn Fisher, shared a gorgeous picture of the dish with their 456k fans on Insta earlier this week. The picture — which features a wheel of ooey-gooey Brie covered in a crackled brûlée topping — teases out the recipe that readers can find on the duo’s website. And if you’re wondering whether you read that right or not, the answer is yes. Instead of baking the cheese, it gets a classic crème brûlée treatment, right down to the torched sugar.

In a big win for busy home cooks, the recipe truly is a snap to make: With just five steps and a 15-minute-or-less prep time, this is a dish anyone with a broiler (and passion for creamy cheese) can accomplish. After slathering a mixture of honey and turbinado sugar over the Brie, the whole thing is quickly broiled. Then, after a short cooling period, the sugar will harden into a crust — which not only looks pretty, but is fun to crack with a spoon or cheese knife.

Fans of the Instagram account went nuts for the recipe mashup leaving comments like, “Oh my goodness yes” and an uncountable amount of the heart-eyes emoji. Same, friends, same. It also seemed like a contender for folks’ Friendsgiving feasts; an idea we’ll definitely be bringing to ours, too!

Park and Fisher served their brûléed Brie with crackers, a wedge of honeycomb, and charcuterie, but no matter how you style yours, we’re betting this will be the star of your next cheese board.
