As a big fan of Diana’s Banana’s Banana Babies, I’m always looking for new ways to spruce up the classic taste of chocolate and bananas. Whether it’s a banana bread brownie or a banana split drizzled with chocolate, I’m guaranteed to be satisfied. So naturally, when I came across food blogger Bailey’s (@basicswithbails on Instagram) homemade frozen Snickers banana pops, I knew I’d found my next sweet obsession.

The perfect combination of bananas, peanuts, coconut oil, chocolate, and peanut butter, this treat is a little slice of heaven. With just five ingredients, you can make a quick and satisfying dessert that will be a favorite during this summer season.

Start by lining a plate or baking tray with parchment paper and then set it aside. Then you’ll want to slice the ends off of the bananas, before cutting your bananas in half. After inserting a Popsicle stick in the middle of the bananas, place them in the freezer for 45 minutes to an hour.

After removing from the freezer, you’ll coat the bananas with a layer of peanut butter and then roll them into a bowl of peanuts. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the coconut oil and chocolate chips until they’ve melted. Next, use a spoon to coat each banana with chocolate, and then return them to the freezer for 10 minutes or until the chocolate shell is set. And you’re ready to enjoy the sweet and salty treat!
