HomeGoods Is Selling These Super Pretty Scalloped Baskets (They’re Usually 2x the Price!)
Now that it’s finally starting to feel like winter is around the corner, you might be in full nesting mode, swapping out your summer gear for cozy items, and organizing your sweaters, blankets, and any other bulky cold weather essentials in storage containers. But sometimes, those clear plastic bins just don’t cut it, and you want to organize in a more aesthetically pleasing way.
Luckily, HomeGoods understood the assignment with huge, gorgeous scalloped rattan baskets that basically look like they’re straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie.
In a TikTok video shared by @Stirandgather, the creator gave their followers a look at their unexpected HomeGoods find: quiet luxury-coded woven baskets with a beachy twist, thanks to its water hyacinth material, rattan weave, and warm golden hue.
The TikToker showed off the RGHI Home containers from all angles, including the trunk-like shape, the scalloped pattern along the top, and the softly rounded sides — all of which make it look more like a decor piece than a storage solution. There’s a smaller basket on sale for $29.99 from $49.95, but the larger size is the best deal.
That’s because the baskets are normally on sale for $116.65, but they’re on sale at HomeGoods for just $69.99. In addition to using them to store blankets and other bulky linens, they’d also be great for housing cozy sweaters, scarves, or anything else that might take up a lot of room in your drawers and cupboards.
Unfortunately, since HomeGoods doesn’t have an online store, there’s no way to check if your closest HomeGoods also has these wicker baskets in stock without physically going to (or calling) a location. However, the TikToker noted that Amazon carries a slightly smaller and more expensive dupe that looks pretty similar.
On sale for $84.97 from $89.97, the BEBE Bask Woven Rattan Basket Set measures 15 inches in length, 10 inches in width, and 6 inches in height.
While it can’t hold as much stuff as the HomeGoods version can, this rattan woven basket also features a lid with the same scallop design as well as a similar shape and color. Plus, as they demonstrate in the Amazon post, the lid can also be removed to make a stand-alone tray to hold your face care essentials, hair clips, or bathroom toiletries.
