I just recently started the Harry Potter series this winter (I know I’m late to the party!), and I can understand the hype around this series now. Every Saturday, I look forward to cozying up and watching one of the films in this collection. I recently just finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which has the scene where Hermione, Harry, and Ron guzzle down delicious-looking Butterbeers. The iconic libation tastes like butterscotch and has those fizzy characteristics of a beer. And it turns out Hershey’s is releasing a new candy inspired by this flavor. 

Recently, a digital creator, @candyhunting, known for announcing food product releases, shared that the new Butterbeer flavor of Hershey’s Kisses will be hitting shelves soon. “These are up on Walmart’s website but are not yet in stock,” noted the caption of the Instagram post.

Walmart currently has the gems stocked on its website, but they are unavailable for purchase now. The product page notes that this launch will happen right in time for Easter. One nine-ounce bag of Butterbeer Hershey’s Kisses costs $4.48 each. The gold creme morsels contain a Butterbeer-flavored filling. Each candy comes in a Harry Potter-themed foil wrapping; for example, one has a bunch of ​​Quidditch broomsticks on it, and another contains Snow Owls.

People immediately flooded the comments of the post detailing these new Butterbeer Hershey’s Kisses.  One person said, “I need this so badly,” while another user said, “This is awesome!!” 

According to Walmart’s product page, these Harry Potter-themed Butterbeer Hershey’s Kisses will be limited-edition, meaning they won’t be around for long, so when you see these hit the stores, stock up while you can. However, you can also buy Harry Potter-themed milk chocolate kisses in the meantime!
