Heinz Just Launched a Chef-Inspired Collection of Infused Honeys and Sauces
Heinz is best known for staple condiments like ketchup and yellow mustard, but this week they’re bringing something different to grocery store shelves: infused honeys and crunch sauces. The flavors and packaging are unlike anything we’ve seen before from the brand and, honestly, we’re pretty excited about it.
The HEINZ 57 Collection is made up of five chef-inspired sauces, with two infused honeys (Hot Chili and Black Truffle) and three crunch toppers (Chili Pepper Crunch, Roasted Garlic Crunch, and Mandarin Orange Miso Crunch). The honeys are ready to be drizzled onto pizza, bacon, fried chicken, or whatever your heart desires, and the oil-based crunch sauces will add texture and flavor to stir-fries and veggies.
According to a press release, the thinking behind the new collection was to make culinary trends (like hot honey) more accessible for consumers. For the new collection, Heinz worked with two award-winning Chicago-based chefs, Lee Wolen (executive chef and partner of Michelin-starred Boka) and Joe Frillman (executive chef and owner of Daisies). “I am inspired by premium-crafted ingredients that can turn any meal from ordinary to extraordinary,” Wolen says. “The HEINZ 57 Collection enables foodies to discover and explore new ingredients and cuisines with a modern twist to even the most tried and true family favorites.”
The new Heinz sauces are available on Amazon and at Meijer, Stop & Shop, Target, Giant Food, Hy-Vee, Publix, Walmart, and other participating retailers, with prices starting at $6.75.
