One of Our Favorite Apron Designers Now Makes Kitchen Shoes

When I’m planning a serious cooking day, there are two things I need besides all the ingredients and kitchen tools: A good apron and sturdy shoes.

And one of my favorite apron brands, Hedley & Bennett, just announced that they are getting into the shoe game. Yes, really! The stylish and practical apron brand teamed up with Vans to create the most colorful kitchen shoes on the planet and I’m kind of already obsessed with them. These soles have soul.

There are two main shoes in the collection: The hightop shoes (which appear to already be sold out), and the slip-ons. According to Instagram, both shoes “come in a navy vanguard canvas to hide spills and stains, lugged outsoles for added grip and traction, and H&B ampersand UltraCush sockliners for some added FUNction and all-day comfort.”

In true H&B fashion, the shoes are practical and comfortable, but also ultra- stylish. I’m obsessed with the colorful soles! “That pop of color represents the Willy Wonka within all of us, and that dreamer, and the hustler, and the do-er,” CEO and founder of Hedley & Bennett, Ellen Bennett, said in a promotional video for the shoes. “This is your hustle shoe, get out there and make it happen.”

I love my Danskos, but I might need to make room in my closet.
