We could go a lot of places with ball puns (Jingle Balls, anyone?)—all of them tricky. So let’s just say this: Popcorn is cheap, fun, and hard not to like, especially when you make it into these cocoa, curry, and eggnog-flavored clusters. Yes, eggnog.

1 / 4

We are no strangers to flavored popcorn, with our Peanut Butter Popcorn, Maple-Butter Spiced Popcorn, and Smoke Monster Popcorn (from the Lost finale).

But popcorn balls are more of a holiday treat—sticky spheres that are a great project for kids and fun to dig into for a sweet snack. They look like ornaments, of course, which means you could hang them on the tree. We’d rather pile them up in a big glass bowl and display them at a party.

And these flavors… We love the variations on the basic popcorn balls from the food editors at CHOW. They all look delicious, and chances are you already have the ingredients in your pantry.

Which one looks best to you?
