We already know that the combination of noodles and peanut sauce is a winning one, so don’t skip on bringing that magic to ramen soup. Sounds odd at first, but the resulting rich and nutty broth will have you thinking otherwise.

Why You Should Use This Instant Upgrade

Stirred into a pot of just-cooked ramen, peanut butter easily softens from the heat of the stovetop. It offers a little boost of protein, but, best of all, it brings flavor and body to the broth. We’re not by any means saying this is going to taste like pad Thai, but if it reminds you of pad Thai, you wouldn’t be wrong.

How to Make It

Prepare the instant ramen according to the instructions on the package. Stir in up to two tablespoons of peanut butter until mixed into the broth. Pour into a bowl and serve immediately.

Doctor Up Instant Ramen

This series shows you just how easy it can be to doctor up instant ramen for a new spin on this everyday comfort food. With a packet of ramen in hand, we’ll show you how to give this noodle soup an instant upgrade using no more than two common pantry ingredients.
