5 of Guy Fieri’s Favorite Kitchen Gadgets
Guy Fieri is a man of many monikers: Mayor of Flavortown, Guy’s Grocery Games Maestro, King of Donkey Sauce, Creator of Trash Can Nachos. To keep all of these coveted titles, Guy wields many kitchen gadgets.
It’s important to note, however, that Guy isn’t one to endorse a specific kitchen product. Like he says in item #1 below, “I’m not a big kitchen gadget guy.” That’s why we had to dig pretty deep into his social media archives to identify five tools he couldn’t live without. Drumroll please…
1. Maverick XR50 Thermometer
Considering how much Guy uses the grill (reader, it’s a lot), a reliable meat thermometer is a must-have. Guy recently tweeted rave reviews of this high-tech, digital meat thermometer in particular (and insisted his thoughts were not #sponcon): “I am not a big kitchen gadget guy but a good thermometer is key. This Mav[er]ick XR50 is awesome. (no I’m not gettin paid for this lol) 4 probes, wireless remote goes 500 ft, the list goes on!”

2. KitchenAid Pasta Attachment Set
Guy has made it abundantly clear that there’s nothing he loves more than spending time with his family. We spotted this handy pasta-making attachment a few times on his Instagram feed and noticed that it’s part of his family’s annual Christmas tradition. (They make lots of homemade pasta!)

3. Ergo Chef Guy Fieri Knuckle Sandwich 8-Inch Chef’s Knife
Guy didn’t just design these luxury santoku knives for the sake of it — he actually uses them all the time. They have ergonomic comfort handles for easy gripping and are made with high-quality steel blades. Something tells us the 8-inch chef’s knife is going to become your new best friend, too. “I‘m tellin’ ya, they’re a must have,” Guy says.

4. Stainless-Steel Tongs

5. Synthetic Cutting Board
In an interview with The Today Show, Guy mentioned that “a synthetic cutting board that’s big enough to work with,” is a kitchen must. He also stressed the importance of separating veggie cutting boards from meat cutting boards, for foods safety reasons. “You have to have enough cutting boards that there’s no cross-contamination. You can’t just turn the cutting board over and use it — the chicken juices run over the side.” This one is 21 inches and a go-to in our test kitchen.
