In our pantry lies the key to happiness. No really, it's promised to make even the worst of days a little brighter and has saved us several times when unexpected company dropped by. It's great in drinks, baked goods, frozen treats and more.

So what's our miracle mix-in you ask? Torani Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup! If you need to avoid sugar for health reasons, this is one of the few sugar-free options out there that is actually good enough to drink.

Around our house we try to keep the sugar content as low as possible, but the contents of this bottle from Torani still allow us a little taste of the outside world. Many chocolate syrups and powders taste fake or leave a metallic taste on your tongue. This product tastes of nothing but the real thing and can turn an ordinary can whip up a chocolate soda to die for in seconds.

We've been known to add it to our store bought sodas (shh don't tell!), baking adventures and even a few dashes in a mole' sauce now and then. It can even be mixed into a batch of candy making (at the end and off the heat) with great success and we're sure a splash or two in an alcoholic drink would be quite nice. It holds it's own on taste, but also amplifies existing chocolate in a recipe or beverage without having conflicting tastes — it's versatile and a little bit goes a long way.
