I don’t like to define myself, but if there’s one thing my friends and I are, it’s food lovers. We love exploring new restaurants, diving into the flavors, soaking in the atmosphere, and discussing what truly makes a dish stand out. It’s an expensive hobby, but I absolutely love it. However, with our bank accounts taking hits from adult responsibilities like weddings, bachelorette parties, buying houses, dining out isn’t the priority it used to be. So, we’ve committed to hosting biweekly dinner parties instead. This way, we save money while still indulging our cravings for some fancy food — it’s a win-win.

When it came time for my house to kick off the first dinner party, I wasn’t sure where to start. Then I remembered that QVC has a great selection of food. With so many options that can be frozen and are quick to prepare, I knew I needed something impressive yet easy. After all, the party was on a Wednesday, and I wasn’t about to overextend myself. When I stumbled upon Greenhead’s 4-pound Maine Lobster Ravioli with Kate’s Maine Butter, I knew it would be a hit. Four pounds was more than enough to feed a group of six — and I still had leftovers!

What Is the Greenhead Lobster Ravioli?

Greenhead’s Lobster Ravioli is stuffed to the brim with certified cold-water Maine lobster, making it fluffy, pillowy, and genuinely delicious. Each bag contains 2 pounds, which can easily feed up to seven people. At a fancy restaurant, you might only get three or four ravioli on a plate, but Greenhead’s Lobster Ravioli offers six to seven per serving, giving you way more bang for your buck (perfect for my dinner parties!). It comes with Kate’s Maine Salted Butter for topping, and the ravioli can be sautéed, boiled, or even air-fried since the lobster is already precooked! Add it to a lobster bisque, enjoy it on its own, or air-fry it and use it as croutons — the options are endless!

For $120, you get two bags of ravioli, totaling 4 pounds, enough to feed up to 14 people! The quality of the lobster really shines through in every bite, making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion. With so many ways to prepare it, this ravioli is an excellent addition to any meal plan.

Why I Love Greenhead’s Lobster Ravioli

If I had closed my eyes, I could have sworn I was enjoying a lobster ravioli dinner in Boston’s North End. But, to my surprise, it was actually the lobster ravioli I ordered from QVC! As I mentioned earlier, I served this at a dinner party with five of my friends, and everyone was thrilled. Each bite was filled with succulent lobster, and when paired with a vodka sauce and fresh parmesan cheese, the flavors really popped. Greenhead’s 4-pound Maine Lobster Ravioli comes with two 2-pound bags, and each bag feeds up to seven people. I cooked both and still had plenty of leftovers for the rest of the week.

I was especially impressed by how easy it was to prepare — I cooked both bags in under 20 minutes! It takes about seven minutes for the pasta to boil, and voilà, it’s ready to serve. I think it would taste particularly amazing with a lemony garlic sauce, which is something I’ll definitely try in the future. Regardless, I was so impressed with how this turned out. If there hadn’t been a huge cake to follow, the leftovers would have been devoured, too. I seriously cannot believe these are available for mail order — they’re packaged in dry ice and shipped within two days of ordering, so you know they’re fresh!

While it might seem pricey, $120 for 4 pounds of Maine Lobster Ravioli is actually a pretty good deal. Feeding 14 people, it averages out to $8 per person, which is far less than dining out and ordering it.
