Q: I need some help. I’m getting my wisdom teeth out in a week. What can I eat that won’t hurt me?

Editor: Bekka, ouch! You have our sympathies. You’ll definitely want to plan on liquids the first couple of days. Something cold like this green tea shake will feel great in your sore mouth. But the challenge of this sort of thing is to not just drink sugary things all the time (fruit juice, ice cream, shakes) so make a big pot of smooth soup that you can sip, and perhaps a very soft tofu dish. Drink lots and lots of water, too, as your throat will be sore and it’s good to stay hydrated.
Readers, what else would you recommend?
