Help Me Find Giada De Laurentiis’ Peppermill!
Q: I don’t have a picture, but I am OBSESSED with Giada De Laurentiis’ pepper mill on her show. It’ s a simple wood cylinder. It looks like a modern Dansk style and would fit perfectly on this wall (photo below).
Could you PLEASE ask your brilliant readers to help identify her peppermill.

Editor: It looks like Giada uses several different peppermills on her show, Shannon, but we think the one you’re talking about can be seen in the bottom corner of the photo above.
We did a little sleuthing and found Food Network’s own list of resources and tableware for Everyday Italian. (See their set list here.)
They list her pepper mills as being from several sources:
Dark Brown Peppermill with Chrome Ring, and Ridged Peppermill, product name: Alex natural bubinga wood, is sold at Le Sanctuaire, 2710 Main Street Santa Monica, CA. For more information about this product call 310-581-8999 or visit the store at www.le-sanctuaire.com.Vic Firth manufactures pepper grinders (in cherry stain and mahogany stain). Write to Vic Firth Incorporated 77 High Street, Newport, ME 04953, call toll-free 800-894-5970 or go online at www.vicfirthgourmet.com for more information.
We think that the one you are obsessed with is the “dark brown peppermill with chrome ring.” Le Sanctuaire does not have this listed on their website currently, and a browse through another discussion of this very peppermill found that it might be discontinued. You can read for yourself here:

Our suggestion would be to research Dansk modern peppermills and also look through Etsy at some of the custom mills available there. Someone may be able to fabricate a good copy for you!
Readers, any more ideas?
