Q: I am serving brunch to an indeterminate number of friends on a weekend that will be mostly spent out of town. I'm not sure how to pull it off and I could use your help! One thing on my list that I will definitely make is the basil zucchini bake ahead quiche that was posted on The Kitchn. I would love more suggestions for delicious brunch foods that I can make a week in advance.

Editor: Evelyn, why not just make a couple batches of quick bread or muffins? You can even make yeast cinnamon rolls — pop any of these in the freezer after baking, then thaw overnight in the refrigerator and warm gently in the oven before serving. Here are some recipe ideas:
