Here’s a smart idea from our friends at Real Simple: Use a colander as an ice bucket. Why? Read on to see!

When serving ice at a party or just for drinks before dinner, put the ice in a colander. Rest the colander in a bowl or wide vase so that the water from the slowly melting ice will drip down, leaving only solid ice for your guests’ drinks.

This is a smart tip! I hate going in for a scoop of ice for my drink and finding half of it water. Watery drinks, no thanks!
