Girl Scouts and HipDot Just Dropped a Cookie-Inspired Makeup Collection That Smells Good Enough to Eat
If, like me, you love Girl Scout cookies and makeup, the collaboration of your dreams is here. I’m all about a beauty and food collaboration (looking at you, Nails.INC and Magnum), so when I found out that Los Angeles-based beauty brand HipDot created a makeup collection inspired by popular Girl Scout cookies, they immediately had my attention.
The limited edition HipDot x Girl Scouts makeup collection consists of two eye shadow palettes, three tinted lip balms, and two makeup brushes. The Girl Scout Thin Mints Pigment Palette includes nude, brown, and taupe shades and smells like mint chocolate, while the Girl Scout Coconut Caramel Pigment Palette has purples, black, and gray to match the Samoas packaging. And in care you were wondering — yes, it definitely smells like coconut and caramel. You can apply these eye shadows with the two brushes in the collaboration: Toast-Yay! — an oval-shaped shadow brush — and S’mores, a crease brush.
For the lips, there is a trio of tinted lip balms inspired by Thin Mints, Samoas, and Lemonades (vegan shortbread cookies with a tangy lemon-flavored icing). Each lip balm is infused with coconut oil, argan oil, and vitamin E, and smells just like their corresponding cookie.
While the products in the collaboration are sold separately (prices start at $16 each), if you want it all and a beautiful box to keep it in, there’s a collector’s box. It’s Girl Scout green and has perfectly sized slots to hold each of the products, and — if you can nab one — you can expect to shovel out $84 for it. But honestly, it’s a makeup-loving Girl Scout fan’s dream, and a way to have a taste of Girl Scout cookies year-round all in one. Who could beat that?
