The holidays tend to make us all extra festive, like freezing a sprig of rosemary at the bottom of a glass to make your cocktail mimic a snow globe. Or how about grabbing a pack of canned cinnamon rolls and turning those into Christmas trees? Personally, I find it all fun and a great way to ring in the spirit of the season.

I recently came across an Instagram clip with the cutest idea for making cheeseburgers with a holiday twist, and I immediately added it to the list of cooking projects I want to take on during my time off.

@Itsmejuliette, an Instagram creator, posted a trick for making a festive cheeseburger. The hack involves using a gingerbread-shaped cookie cutter to cut out buns, a burger patty, and cheese. The clip has gained nearly 66K views, and people on social media can’t decide if they’re in love with this idea or distressed by it.  

One person commented on this Instagram clip detailing how to make gingerbread-shaped cheeseburgers, saying, “They look so good,” while another user said, “I’m totally making these!”

On the other hand, some people on social media were less impressed. “Just give me a regular burger,” one person said, while another user said, “Some things don’t need to be done.”

Whether you’re on the side of loving this hack or thinking it’s a complete waste of time, we can all agree that it’s adorable, and there’s undoubtedly one person in your life who would find joy in you making them a gingerbread-shaped burger. If you can’t stop obsessing over this trick, try it with a Christmas tree or snowflake-shaped cookie cutters.
