If you’ve been wanting to try non-alcoholic spirits or kick off Dry January ahead of time, mocktails are a great place to start. Fortunately, there are tons of high-quality options that give you all the flavor without the hassle. Among them is Ghia, whose mission is to help you connect and savor the moment with beverages that don’t have any numbing side effects. Inspired by Mediterranean aperitivo culture, it’s a “drink you’d remember in the morning,” as their founder Melanie Masarin puts it.
Their alcohol-free Apéritif impressed our contributor Lauren, who paired it with plain sparkling water. “The resulting drink is pleasantly bitter, herbaceous, and more than complex enough to mimic the taste of an expertly crafted spritz,” she wrote in her review. “Meant for ‘slow sipping,’ the flavor lingers (in a good way!) and really makes you stop and savor what’s in your glass.”
Their Apéritif isn’t the only item discounted on their website.
