Earlier this year, rapper Future (born Nayvadius Wilburn) shocked fans when it was announced that he sold the publishing rights to his music catalog in an eight-figure deal. Now, less than four months later, he’s showing everyone what he’s doing with the influx of cash: buying up the block. Miami’s block, that is.

Although life has been more than good for the 39-year-old Atlanta-bred rapper for some time now, his recent purchase of an almost-new waterfront property in Miami Beach’s exclusive Allison Island area is showing us all just how well he’s living. Purchased for a cool $16.3 million, the 2020-built property was snagged up by the “Wait For U” rapper at a $3.6 million discount off the original asking price.

Nestled on over a quarter-acre of land, the 7-bedroom, 9-bath home features plenty of modern designs both inside and out. On the inside, high ceilings and walls of glass effortlessly flow throughout the nearly 8,000-square-foot home while an elevator takes you from one floor to the next.

The luxe mansion’s elevator isn’t the only amenity that graces the space, though. Future’s newest digs also feature a rooftop terrace, detached guesthouse, three-car garage, and separate quarters for the staff. While these are all more than enough to make anyone wish for an invite to any party he plans to throw soon, the kitchen is what really makes the place shine.

Boasting custom Ornare cabinetry, signature stainless steel appliances, two sinks, and a sprawling eat-in island, the sleek open floor plan sees the kitchen area flow into a capacious great room that combines both the living and dining areas in one.

The upstairs area is also one that deserves a bit of praise too, as a wet bar and wine refrigerator are both found in the master bedroom’s seating area. There are also dual walk-in closets in the room, while the sprawling bathroom hosts a luxe soaking tub, glass-encased shower, and dual vanities. And, of course, the entire space has enough natural lighting to make anyone jealous.

As for the outside area, Future won’t have any problem hosting any parties with his celeb friends (which may include the likes of other Miami-area celebs like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner or the newly single Gisele Bündchen) as the palm tree-laced lot also features an infinity-edge pool, an open-air cabana that also boasts an outdoor kitchen, and a dock that leads to 75 feet of water frontage.

This isn’t the only glamorous real estate that the rapper is purchasing down in the Sunshine State, though. According to the New York Post, Future recently signed a contract on a $7.5 million, 6,000-square-foot apartment at the Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach. That beachfront property, however, won’t be completed until 2027.
